As part of our in-house departments, Alinta is proud to advise that we have the KP Design Team. For over 20 years, the KP Design Team has been ahead of trends in school wear, designs and the latest fabrications. They have been highly sought after by leading independent schools. This service will manage total uniform creation. Their aim is to create a unique range that will bring your vision to life, enhance your school’s image and exceed customer expectations.
Alinta and the KP Design Team are experienced in curating innovative uniform ranges to suit a variety of school communities and climates, including casual, play-based and non-gender specific garments. Alinta is able to build a range using layers and options for warmth, and fabrics to suit the seasons, all of which can be subsituted/mixed and matched, offering your school a cohesive, single source solution for your garments.
We offer a complete, end-to-end solution for school uniform supply—designed to take the hassle out of uniform management. With both Australian-based and offshore production capabilities, we deliver flexibility, quality, and cost-effectiveness to meet the needs of every school. Our local facilities support fast turnarounds and small-batch orders, while our offshore partners ensure efficient large-scale manufacturing. As part of our total solution, we also provide custom-made uniforms for individual students, ensuring the perfect fit, comfort, and a consistent look across your school community. From design and production to delivery and ongoing support—we’ve got your uniform needs covered.
We also cater to the individual needs of students through our Custom Make-Up Service — providing made-to-order garments for those requiring non-standard sizing, so every student feels comfortable and confident in their uniform.

OFF CAMPUS OPERATIONS
The AFC (Alinta Fulfillment Centre) is a high quality and effective logistics hub that contributes to the success of our business. The AFC provides significant on-site storage to support our on campus uniform stores and virtual retail stores. Today it is the hub of our supply chain that links the uniform shop, warehouse and our international manufacturing base to provide real time data of sales, stock on hand and garments in production. The AFC has clearly delineated areas such as fast pick, general dispatch and stock holding. We use several transport companies who deliver our products. These companies are given delivery instructions provided by the School, parent or guardian. Our logistics partners provide full track and trace of our products as they move through the supply chain from factory to warehouse to customer.
Alinta boasts the most advanced School Uniform Shop Retail Operations Platform. This platform is custom built and caters to every need of a school and school community via our advanced online shopping, layby and order history functionality.
Alinta works with the school to develop a dedicated uniform shop web page, tailored to the individual requirements of your school, including separate categories for different year groups being linked directly to the school’s website. Our uniform shop landing page has helpful information about the school uniform range, policies, online ordering and warranty. Parents will be able to make online purchases of uniform via secure online payment. The customer portal includes a product image, sizing chart and sizing video to provide parents with accuracy when placing their order for their child’s uniform.
The online customer portal is fully integrated with AFC (Alinta Fulfillment Centre) Customers will use the portal to
purchase selected items either for home delivery (with a fee) or collection from the school. Orders are then
processed through AFC with integrated tracking for families at all stages of the order, giving comfort in knowing
where their order is, at all times.
At Alinta, we believe that the foundation of a successful uniform shop lies in a strong and collaborative partnership with the school. Our relationship with each school is more than just a service agreement — it’s a partnership built on trust, shared goals, and clear communication. Having the right partner makes managing a uniform shop simple, streamlined, and stress-free.
Communication between the school’s management and Alinta is of paramount importance when considering the success of a uniform shop, and to guarantee an effective relationship. All uniform shops are paired with highly experienced supervisors. Supervisors work directly with school principals, P&C’s and uniform committees to ensure that the uniform shop effectively caters to the needs of the school community.
Regular communications are made by the Supervisor with the school through:
- Attendance at P&C meetings as needed
- School newsletter entries
- Monthly supervisor reports
- Quarterly financial reports
- Orientation package inclusions
- Prospective students’ orientation night speech
